One Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 near Sheffield Drive

 
MONTECITO, CA (November 28, 2022) — One person sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 101 on Saturday, November 26.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on northbound Highway 101 south of Sheffield Drive at 5:20 p.m.
 
Montecito firefighters said the collision reportedly involved seven vehicles and one motorcycle.
 
Reports said medics treated one patient for moderate injuries. Then they transported the patient to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
 
According to Montecito firefighters, others involved were not hurt in the incident.
 
The crash temporarily closed the northbound Highway 101 lanes at Ortega Hill Road.
 
Montecito firefighters informed motorists to expect delays in the area as crews cleared the scene.
