Motorcycle Involved in Accident on Montezuma Road in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 5, 2021) – Crews sent one person to the hospital after a motorcycle accident at the 5700 block of Montezuma Road on April 3.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 6:37 AM.
Based on a report, the 45-year-old man male victim was riding a motorcycle westbound on the road at the time of the crash. At the same time, a 19-year-old man, driving a 1997 Honda, made a U-turn across the westbound lane. Subsequently, the motorcycle crashed into the car.
As a result, the rider suffered serious injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to the hospital for a fracture to the right tibia and a bone in the leg below the knee.
No other details are available. As of now, the San Diego Police Department is still investigating this motorcycle accident on Montezuma Road.
