HAYWARD, CA (October 26, 2021) – Police confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Huntwood Avenue on October 11.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Salmon Way around 1:00 AM.
 
Based on an initial report, the victim was standing near the intersection at the time of the crash. Due to unknown circumstances, a truck struck him. As of now, the details surrounding the incident are not immediately available.
 
As a result, the pedestrian died from his injuries. Right now, authorities have only identified him as a 56-year-old man.
 
Afterward, the truck’s driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
