Fatal Car Accident Reported on National Boulevard in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 3, 2021) – Officials confirmed that one person died in a car accident on National Boulevard on March 1.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Jefferson Boulevard around 1:50 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was driving a vehicle westbound on Jefferson at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle was unable to negotiate a turn. Subsequently, it drove onto some old train tracks and then into the riverbed.
 
As a result, the Los Angeles Police Department said the unidentified driver died at the scene. Prior to that, crews with the Los Angeles Fire Department performed life-saving measures. The victim’s identity is not immediately available.
 
It was unclear if speed was a factor in the crash. At this point, no other details are available. However, officials continue to investigate this car accident on National Boulevard.
