One Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Crash on 210 Freeway near State Street

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (November 22, 2021) — One person suffered fatal injuries in a pedestrian accident on 210 Freeway on Friday, November 19.
 
California Highway Patrol said that the accident happened just after 2 p.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway just before the State Street exit.
 
Reports said the pedestrian jumped out of a car from the center divider in a possible black Volkswagen Jetta. Seconds later, a dark gray BMW struck the pedestrian.
 
When CHP arrived at the scene, they discovered the pedestrian unresponsive in the middle lane. Despite their life-saving measures, the pedestrian died at the scene.
 
The driver involved in the incident stayed on the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
The events surrounding the incident were not immediately clear.
