Woman Dead, Passenger Injured in Car Crash on Sunrise Boulevard at Gold Country Boulevard

 
RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (June 22, 2022) — A woman died in a car accident on Sunrise Boulevard on Saturday, June 18.
 
The incident occurred just before 2:00 a.m. on Sunrise Boulevard at Gold Country Boulevard when a car crashed into a tree.
 
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, responding deputies discovered the vehicle with terrible damage.
 
After that, medics rushed both occupants of the vehicle to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
The female driver of the vehicle died from her injuries.
 
Meanwhile, authorities said they expect the male passenger to recover. Their identities were not immediately available.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
