One Dead in Tulare County Big Rig Crash on Highway 99

 
TULARE COUNTY, CA (May 10, 2021) — One person died in a big rig accident on Highway 99 near Avenue 24 Friday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 2:40 p.m., south of Earlimart.
 
For unclear reasons, a trailer of a big rig swerved off the road into the center divider, which caused the big rig to overturn. Due to the force, the tractor landed on its roof and caught on fire.
 
Unfortunately, one person died in the accident. However, reports did not specify information about the victim. However, if anyone has more information on this fatal crash, please contact the CHP.
