One Dead in Bicycle Accident on South Wolfe Road [Sunnyvale, CA]

One Fatally Injured in Sunnyvale Bicycle Crash on South Wolfe Road and Inverness Way

 
SUNNYVALE, CA (September 28, 2022) — One person died following a bicycle accident on South Wolfe Road on Monday, September 26.
 
According to the Sunnyvale’s Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at about 5:11 p.m. in the area of South Wolfe Road and Inverness Way.
 
When officers arrived, they discovered a male bicyclist suffering from major injuries. Medics rendered aid at the scene. Then they rushed the injured cyclist by ambulance to the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.
 
However, the bicyclist to succumbed to his injuries and died. The Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office has not released his identity as of Tuesday morning.
 
The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
