One Killed, One Hurt in Head-On Accident on Agoura Road near Liberty Canyon Road

 
AGOURA HILLS (July 4, 2022) — A man died and another suffered injuries in a head-on crash on Agoura Road on Thursday, June 30.
 
The crash happened at around 7:24 p.m. on Agoura Road, a third of a mile west of Liberty Canyon Road.
 
According to deputies from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station, one motorist traveled west and another moved eastbound on Agoura. Then the first driver tried to pass a vehicle by entering the opposing lane of traffic.
 
This led them to crash head-on with the second driver, said Deputy Veronica Fantom of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
 
One driver died at the scene. The other driver suffered minor injuries and medics rushed them to Los Robles Hospital.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the incident. There is no additional information available at the moment, Fantom stated.
