One Critically Injured in Four-Vehicle Accident on Vanowen Street [Reseda, CA]

Late Evening Crash on Vanowen Street in Resedan Involves 4 Vehicles

 
RESEDA, CA (August 8, 2022) – One person was critically injured in a four-vehicle accident on Vanowen Street in Reseda late Thursday evening, August 4.
 
The accident happened around 11:08 at 17730 Vanowen Street, just between White Oak Avenue and Encino Avenue. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, four vehicles collided in the area, one of them had overturned.
 
The overturned vehicle knocked down a utility pole, with multiple wires falling to the ground, and struck a commercial building, causing water to flood the inside of the building.
 
First responders found one person trapped in the overturned vehicle. They took that patient to a trauma center in critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, two people at the scene declined medical treatment.
