One Airlifted in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Palmdale Road near Buttonwood Street [Phelan, CA]

Traffic Accident on Palmdale Road in Phelan Involves 4 Vehicles

 
PHELAN, CA (April 26, 2022) – One person sustained critical injuries after a multi-vehicle accident on Palmdale Road in Phelan on Friday evening.
 
The accident happened around 8:38 p.m. on April 22 just east of Buttonwood Street. CHP officials said the crash involved a white Nissan Altima, a white Kia Optima, a gray Toyota Camry and a fourth unknown vehicle.
 
The San Bernardino County Firefighters responded and found the Nissan and Kia with major damage. The Camry had front-end damage.
 
Firefighters requested a helicopter to airlift one person to Loma Linda University Medical Center with critical injuries.
 
Ground ambulances transported two other people with minor injuries.
 
At this time, the Victorville CHP station is still investigating the cause of the crash and liability.
