Multi-Vehicle Accident on 5 Freeway in Gorman Sends 1 Person to Hospital

 
GORMAN, CA (July 14, 2022) – One person was airlifted to a hospital after a multi-vehicle accident on 5 Freeway in Gorman on Monday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. on July 11 near Smokey Bear Road. According to the CHP, the crash involved several vehicles including an overturned Land Rover. The Land Rover reportedly rear-ended a dump truck.
 
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and found one patient from the overturned vehicle.
 
A helicopter took the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
