Oakdale Woman Suffers Fatal Injuries after Head-On Crash in Modesto

 
MODESTO, CA (October 25, 2021) – Olga Bentulan was killed in a head-on accident on Parker Road east of Modesto on Wednesday morning.
 
The accident happened around 7:20 a.m. on October 20, just west of Wellsford Road. Bentulan was driving a Toyota SUV when she collided head-on with a Ford pickup truck for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, she suffered severe injuries. Responding paramedics rushed her to Memorial Medical Center, where she later died.
 
Bentulan was a 64-year-old Oakdale resident, according to the Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup, 41-year-old Kenneth Brickey of Waterford, sustained minor injuries and declined transportation.
 
A 1-year-old boy in the pickup escaped injury.
 
At this time, authorities are still trying to determine which driver was at fault and what led up to the crash. Further investigation is underway.
