Officer Hurt in Hit-and-Run Crash on 10 Freeway in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 16, 2023) — An officer was injured in a hit-and-run accident on the 10 Freeway near the 110 Freeway.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the hit-and-run happened near downtown around 3:20 p.m. Thursday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of a Tesla struck a Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Tesla left the scene for unknown reasons.
 
Due to the accident, authorities closed the transition ramp so an ambulance could load the victim into the vehicle.
