Officer Hurt in 2-Car Crash at Huntington Boulevard in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (May 26, 2022) — An officer was injured in a car accident at Huntington Boulevard and Orchard Street on Wednesday.
 
According to reports, the two-vehicle crash happened around 6:45 a.m. near downtown Fresno. For unknown reasons, a driver failed to yield to an oncoming patrol car at an uncontrolled intersection. Subsequently, the two vehicles collided.
 
Shortly after, Fresno firefighter-paramedics arrived at the scene and brought the injured officer to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. As for the second driver, he or she reported no wounds at the time.
