Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Pickup Truck in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (February 7, 2022) – Noah Ruiz Hernandez died in a motorcycle accident in northwest Fresno, late Saturday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 5:00 p.m. on February 5 in the area of North Blackstone Avenue and Herndon Avenue. According to the Fresno Police Department, a pickup truck was making a U-turn from northbound Blackstone at East Magill Avenue and misjudged the speed of the motorcycle, driven by Hernandez.
 
21-year-old Fresno resident Hernandez struck the passenger side of the truck in the second lane. As a result, he suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene, according to the Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office.
 
The truck driver was not hurt and remained on scene, police said.
 
A passenger in the truck was also unharmed.
 
An investigation into this fatal crash is underway. As a result, anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact police.
