Motorcyclist Dies after Struck by Driver who Ran a Red Light in Lancaster

 
LANCASTER, CA (May 26, 2021) – Nicholas Descisciolo was killed in motorcycle accident Monday morning in Lancaster.
 
The accident happened around 11:55 a.m. on May 24, in the area of Avenue J-8 and Challenger Way. Descisciolo was riding a motorcycle northbound on Challenger Way and had a green signal light. At the same time, a female adult in a Honda was traveling westbound on Avenue J-8 and did not stop for the red signal light at the intersection.
 
As Descisciolo entered the intersection, the Honda collided into him. The impact ejected him and his biked crashed into a Kia.
 
As a result, Descisciolo suffered severe injuries and died at the scene. He was a 33-year-old Lake Hughes resident, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
