Bloomington Resident Nathaly Millan Dies after Speeding Sedan Rear-Ends UPS Truck in Jurupa Valley
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (May 25, 2021) – Nathaly Lopez Millan was killed in a high-speed accident in Jurupa Valley Saturday night, May 15.
Around 6:37 p.m., the driver of a UPS truck was turning left onto Armstrong Road from Gail Drive. Millan was driving a white 2015 Toyota Corolla southbound on Armstrong at a high rate of speed when she struck the UPS truck without braking.
Responding deputies and fire crews located Millan with severe injuries. Paramedics rushed her to Riverside Community Hospital, where she later died.
Millan was a 28-year-old Bloomington resident, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office. To pay respects to Millan, you can do so here.
The driver of the UPS truck suffered non-life threatening injuries from the crash.
The crash is under investigation, and authorities said it was unknown if impaired driving was a factor.
