Amara Bush and Naiomi Brown Dead in Elk Grove Car Accident

 
ELK GROVE, CA (February 25, 2021) — Two people died in a car accident on Whitelock Parkway near Franklin High Road Monday morning.
 
The Sacramento County Coroner identified the deceased victims as Naiomi Michelle Brown and Amara Bush. Brianna Moreno was injured, but is expected to survive. The fourth victim was not identified.
 
According to police, the fatal crash took place around 4:55 a.m. A car carrying four people on Whitelock Parkway traveled off the road and crashed into a tree.
 
Due to the extreme force, the car split in half.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and extricated one person from the car, who died at the scene. The second fatal victim died moments later. It is unknown at this time which victim died first.
 
As police investigated, a team of paramedics transported a person with non-life-threatening injuries and another with critical injuries to a nearby hospital.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash remains unclear. However, anyone with information should contact the Elk Grove Police Department.
