Palm Desert Accident on 10 Freeway Snarls Early Morning Traffic

 
PALM DESERT, CA (June 03, 2021) — A multi-vehicle accident on the 10 Freeway near Washington Street snarled traffic in Palm Desert Thursday morning.
 
The May 27th incident took place in the westbound lanes according to the California Highway Patrol. Four vehicles collided in the said area at about 6:28 a.m., and they ended up on the right shoulder of the freeway.
 
One of the vehicles was hauling an estimated 22,000 pounds of live fish as per CHP. Also, a truck crashed into at least one of the involved vehicles. It was not clear, however, if this was the same vehicle hauling the fish.
 
Meanwhile, there was no immediate information on whether those involved sustained injuries in the crash. Officials are still investigating the incident.
