UPDATE: Motorcyclists Paul King and Forrest King Die in Car Accident on Auberry Road [Fresno, CA]

Fatal Fresno Motorcycle Accident on Auberry Road, Forrest King and Paul King Identified

 
FRESNO, CA (January 20, 2022) – Two motorcyclists died in a multi-vehicle accident on Auberry Road in Fresno on Saturday, January 8.
 
Officials say 54-year-old Paul King of Clovis and his son 25-year-old Forrest King of Clovis were killed in the accident.
 
The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. According to the CHP, both men were trying to pass someone driving a Ford F-150 on Auberry Road. one motorcyclist lost control and ejected but was later hit by someone driving a Subaru Forester. The other motorcyclist hit the Forester’s bumper and ejected.
 
Both men, who are said to be father and son from Clovis, were then pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The driver of the Forester was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for moderate injuries following the collision.
 
According to CHP, both men were wearing their helmets before the collision took place. In addition, it is unknown if either drugs or alcohol played a factor.
 
Police said it is technically legal for anyone to pass the vehicles because there is a dashed line on their side. However, officials state that is is a dangerous part of the roadway to pass.
 
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene to investigate.
