Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Motorcycle Accident on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard

 
KEARNY MESA, CA (January 26, 2023) – A 53-year-old motorcyclist sustained injuries in a hit-and-run on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, late Monday evening.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened on January 23, at about 11:00 p.m. A northbound vehicle reportedly struck the side of the motorcycle near the intersection of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Kearny Villa Road.
 
Investigators confirmed that the motorcyclist approached the intersection at a green light.
 
Emergency crews transported the motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment of fractured ribs and a fractured left ankle. The victim’s injuries are reportedly non-life-threatening.
 
As per reports, the driver immediately fled the scene and did not render aid to the victim.
