Rider Suffers Serious Injuries after Traffic Accident on Navajo Road in Apple Valley

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (July 7, 2021) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after a traffic accident at Navajo Road and Ramona Avenue.
 
The accident happened on Sunday, July 4. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle attempted to pass a car when another vehicle swerved to avoid the motorcycle. The driver was unable to avoid a collision and struck the bike before crashing into the other car.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist suffered major injuries. Firefighters requested an air ambulance to transport the rider to out-of-area trauma center.
 
Meanwhile, the drivers of the two vehicles were transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
The Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station is investigating the accident.
