Rider Dies after Colliding with Vehicle on Strawberry Canyon Road in Elkhorn

 
ELKHORN, CA (March 9, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed in an accident on Strawberry Canyon Road in Elkhorn on Sunday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 3:19 p.m. on March 6 at San Miguel Canyon Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist collided with a vehicle for unknown reasons.
 
Firefighter paramedics responded and found the motorcyclist lying down on the ground. They attempted life-saving measures, but the victim died at the scene.
 
The identity of the motorcyclist was not immediately available.
 
At this time, it is unclear if intoxication was a factor. The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
