GORDA, CA (September 22, 2022) – A motorcyclist died in a traffic accident on Highway 1 in Gorda Monday evening, September 19.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:31 p.m. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist collided with a rental motorhome in unclear circumstances.
 
As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Authorities withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
