Deadly Accident on Haster Street in Garden Grove Involves Motorcycle and Van

 
GARDEN GROVE, CA (July 26, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed in an accident at Haster Street and Lampson Avenue in Garden Grove.
 
The accident happened just before 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 24. According to Garden Grove police, a van made an unsafe turn into oncoming traffic and struck the motorcyclist. The impact threw the motorcyclist onto the roadway.
 
When firefighter paramedics arrived, they found the victim unresponsive and pronounced them dead at the scene.
 
The coroner’s office will release the victim’s identity once family members are properly notified.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the van stayed at the scene and has not been arrested.
 
The Garden Grove Police Department is investigating to determine whether alcohol or drugs played a part in the crash. They urged anyone with further information to call them at 714-741-5704.
