Rider Dies after Colliding with Vehicle on Central Avenue in Montclair

 
MONTCLAIR, CA (March 5, 2022) – A motorcyclist died in a traffic accident at Central Avenue and Howard Street in Montclair on Sunday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 12:02 p.m. on May 1. According to the Montclair Police Department, the motorcyclist collided with a vehicle at the intersection for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they found the motorcyclist suffering from severe injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, the patient died at the scene.
 
At this time, the identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
Crews closed all northbound lanes of Central Avenue just south of Howard Street while they cleared the wreckage.
 
Further investigation is underway.
