Deadly Rear-End Accident on 15 Freeway Connector in Mission Valley Involves Motorcyclist and Sedan

 
MISSION VALLEY, CA (May 23, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed in a rear-end accident on 15 Freeway connector in Mission Valley Thursday afternoon, May 20.
 
The accident happened shortly after 4:00 p.m., just west of 8 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist rear-ended a Honda Civic that was parked on the right-hand shoulder of the ramp from northbound 15 Freeway.
 
The motorcyclist suffered significant injuries from the impact and died at the scene.
 
It was unclear why the driver of the car had pulled over along the connector. The accident is still under investigation.
