Motorcycle Rider Dead in Pursuit Accident on Lincoln Avenue

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 21, 2022) — A 30-year-old motorcyclist died in a pursuit crash on Lincoln Avenue on Thursday, January 20.
 
Just before 2:00 a.m. the rider moved westbound in the 3400 block of Orange Avenue at a high rate of speed. Then officers conducted a traffic stop, San Diego police Officer David O’Brien said.
 
The motorcyclist did not stop and crashed into a curb in the 3300 block of Lincoln Avenue. The impact ejected him from the bike and he hit a metal guardrail.
 
The rider, who did not wear a helmet, died at the crash site. His identity was not yet released.
