Fatal Sacramento Motorcycle Accident on Arden Way near Arden Fair Mall

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (July 20, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed in an accident on Arden Way near Arden Fair Mall, Wednesday evening.
 
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the incident happened on July 14, at about 7:30 p.m. Due to unknown circumstances, a motorcycle and a vehicle collided along the 1600 block of Arden Way.
 
Emergency responders rushed the motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Unfortunately, the victim later died from his injuries.
 
Authorities did not release the name of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
Sacramento police continue to investigate the cause of the fatal accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
