Traffic Accident on Highway 74 in Hemet Sends Rider to Hospital

 
HEMET, CA (November 22, 2021) – A motorcyclist was injured in a traffic accident on Highway 74 just east of Hemet Saturday morning.
 
The accident happened around 10:34 a.m. on November 20, near Bee Canyon Truck Trail. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist was riding eastbound on the side of the highway when they collided into a sedan for unknown reasons.
 
Crews from the Riverside County Fire Department responded to the scene and found the motorcyclist stuck underneath the sedan with unspecified injuries. They requested an air ambulance to transport the patient to a hospital.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash is under investigation. It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol were involved.
