Motorcyclist Injured in Semi-Truck Accident on Dillon Road [Coachella, CA]

Rider Hospitalized after Semi-Truck Accident on Dillon Road near TA Travel Center in Coachella

 
COACHELLA, CA (June 27, 2022) – A motorcyclist was injured in an accident involving a semi-truck on Dillon Road on Thursday afternoon.
 
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened on June 23 at about 2:15 p.m. Witnesses said that the semi-truck attempted to turn into the truck stop.
 
After that, the truck collided with the motorcyclist in front of the TA Travel Center.
 
Emergency crews transported the rider to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Authorities did not release the name of the victim.
 
Meanwhile, the truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
The sheriff’s department continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officials will release additional information once it becomes available.
