Rider Suffers Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Highway 74 in Perris

 
PERRIS, CA (November 8, 2021) – A motorcyclist suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 74 in Good Hope west of Perris on Friday afternoon.
 
The crash happened around 2:50 p.m. on November 5 along the westbound lanes of the highway near Ellis Avenue. According to the CHP, an unknown vehicle ran into the motorcyclist, who was ejected onto the highway and was left unconscious.
 
After the crash, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
Other motorists stopped to render assistance until Riverside County Fire Department paramedics reached the location 10 minutes later.
 
Paramedics then took the victim to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley with moderate injuries.
 
At this time, the driver remains at large. CHP officers began canvassing the area in an attempt to locate the hit-and-run suspect. An investigation is ongoing.
