DUI Crash on Highway 74 in Menifee Leaves Rider in Critical Condition, Nathan Stipp Arrested

 
MENIFEE, CA (February 8, 2022) – A motorcyclist suffered critical injuries and police arrested Nathan Stipp after a DUI crash in Menifee on Sunday evening.
 
The crash happened around 10:24 p.m. on February 6, at the intersection of Highway 74 and Trumble Road. According to the Menifee Police Department, the 31-year-old suspect was driving a Toyota pickup truck eastbound when he made a left turn in front of the westbound Harley-Davidson.
 
The pickup truck then collided with the motorcycle, causing severe injuries on the rider.
 
Responding paramedics rushed the rider to a hospital in critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, police arrested Stipp on suspicion of driving under the influence causing injury. They booked him into Cois M. Byrd Detention Center in French Valley at $50,000 bail.
 
At this time, an investigation is ongoing.
