Rider Seriously Hurt after Motorcycle Accident on Foothills Boulevard at Foothills Overpass

 
ROSEVILLE, CA (March 3, 2021) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in an accident on Foothills Boulevard, Wednesday afternoon.
 
According to the Roseville Police Department, the incident happened in the 1990 block of Foothills Boulevard at about 3:30 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a northbound motorcycle hit a vehicle that was heading in the same direction.
 
The impact of the crash ejected the rider from the motorcycle.
 
Paramedics rushed the motorcyclist to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. As per reports, the victim remains in critical condition. Authorities did not release the name and age of the victim.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
Responders temporarily shut down Foothills Boulevard to traffic in both directions at the Foothills Overpass to make way for an investigation.
 
Roseville police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
