75-Year-Old Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Camp Rock Road in Lucerne Valley

 
LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (May 6, 2022) – A 75-year-old motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a semi-truck accident on Camp Rock Road on Thursday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on May 5 at about 2:35 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a Yamaha motorcycle was driving recklessly near the intersection of Camp Rock Road and Rabbit Springs Road.
 
Then, the motorcyclist collided with a semi-truck.
 
Helicopter H285 later transported the motorcyclist to Loma Linda Medical Center. As per reports, the rider suffered serious injuries to his arm.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the semi-truck remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
