Motorcycle Accident on Highway 223 near General Beale Road in Arvin
ARVIN, CA (February 4, 2021) – A rider sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident on Highway 223, Saturday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. Due to unknown circumstances, a motorcycle and a big rig pulling a flatbed became involved in an accident on Highway 223, just west of General Beale Road.
Emergency crews transported the motorcyclist to a hospital with major injuries. Officers did not release the name and age of the victim.
Meanwhile, the driver of the big rig remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
CHP continues to investigate the circumstances that led to the accident. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
