Mitra Sadeghzadeh Killed in Head-On Accident on McKean Road [San Jose, CA]

Authorities Identify One Of Two People Killed in Sunday Night Crash in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (February 23, 2021) – A 68-year-old Milpitas woman was one of the two people killed in a head-on accident Sunday evening in San Jose.
 
The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner’s Office identified her as Mitra Sadeghzadeh.
 
The accident happened around 9:17 p.m., February 14 on McKean Road south of Schillingsburg Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a man was driving a 2002 Chrysler southbound on McKean Road. For unknown reasons, he veered off the roadway and crossed over the double yellow lines into the northbound lane. The Chrysler then collided head-on with a 2008 Toyota, driven by Sadeghzadeh.
 
The drivers were lone occupants of each vehicle, according to the CHP. Both suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
