Northbound Highway 101 Off-Ramp at Santa Maria Way Closed after Two-Vehicle Accident
ORCUTT, CA (August 17, 2021) – At least one person sustained injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 101, Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on August 12, at about 5:38 a.m. For unknown reasons, a semi-truck and an SUV collided head-on on northbound Highway 101 at Santa Maria Way.
As per reports, at least one person sustained minor injuries. However, no one was hospitalized.
Responding crews cleared the freeway and the northbound on-ramp opened at about 6:20 a.m.
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
