Miguel Raya Dead in Pedestrian Crash on Macy Street and Foothill Boulevard

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (September 20, 2021) — A 28-year-old San Bernardino man identified as Miguel Angel Raya died in a pedestrian crash.
 
At around 7:48 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, officers with the San Bernardino Police Department received reports of the crash. They rushed to Macy Street and Foothill Boulevard in San Bernardino. When SBPD arrived, they found the man lying on the road.
 
Medics also responded to the scene. They rushed Raya to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Despite life-saving efforts, medical personnel pronounced him dead at 10:27 p.m.
 
Officials did not report any other injuries.
 
Authorities did not release if alcohol or drugs contributed to the crash.
 
Investigators said that the events that lead to the incident are still unknown. They also have not yet released the make and model of the vehicle involved.
 
Police continues to investigate the incident.
