Driver Dies after Colliding with Big Rig Off 215 Freeway in Highgrove

 
HIGHGROVE, CA (April 9, 2021) – Michael Mabry died Wednesday morning after a collision with a big rig off the 215 Freeway in Highgrove.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 6:00 a.m. on April 7, in the area of Center Street and Stephens Avenue.
 
The 28-year-old Colton man was driving a vehicle when he collided with the big rig for unknown reasons. As a result, he suffered major injuries.
 
Responding paramedics rushed Mabry to Riverside Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
 
Meanwhile, the trucker did not sustain any injuries.
 
It is unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash. Further investigation is underway.
