Michael Baker Involved in DUI Crash at Sonoma Raceway on Arnold Drive in Sonoma

 
SONOMA, CA (July 25, 2022) – Police arrested Michael Baker following an ATV crash at the Sonoma Raceway on Arnold Drive on July 21.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at approximately 11:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, Santa Rosa resident 48-year-old Baker was driving a 2021 Can-Am Defender ATV on a private dirt road on the raceway property when he hit an embankment at between 25 to 30 mph. Subsequently, the ATV overturned on its left side.
 
As a result, Baker and a 35-year-old passenger from Nevada suffered major injuries in the incident. A third passenger, a 40-year-old man from Arizona, sustained minor injuries.
 
CHP officials said alcohol was a primary factor in the crash.
 
In the end, officers arrested Baker on suspicion of felony DUI. He remained at the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
