29-Year-Old Megan Russo Identified as Motorcyclist Killed in Wilmington Crash

 
WILMINGTON, CA (December 11, 2023) – Authorities identified 29-year-old Megan Russo of Los Angeles as the motorcyclist killed in an accident in Wilmington, Thursday afternoon.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened on December 7, at about 3:10 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a motorcycle and a pickup truck collided in the 1100 block of Mauretania Street.
 
Emergency crews pronounced the motorcyclist, Russo, dead at the scene.
 
Details about the pickup driver were not released.
 
The LAPD continues to investigate the cause of the fatal accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
