Morning Highland Crash Leaves Driver and Passenger Dead

 
HIGHLAND, CA (December 19, 2022) – Maxwell Daniel Hantz and Clarisa Lynn De Lloyd died in a car accident in Highland on Wednesday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:18 a.m. on December 14, at the intersection of 5th Street and Victoria Avenue. According to the San Bernardino Police Department, a car carrying two people had crashed in the area for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, both the driver and his passenger died at the scene.
 
Hantz was a 21-year-old Highland resident. He was the one driving the car. De Lloyd was his passenger, who was 19 years old from Zepherhills, Florida.
 
The exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
