Head-On Crash in Jolon Kills Four People, Badly Injures 1

 
JOLON, CA (June 14, 2022) – Mary Lee, Xiong Lee, Malisa Moua and Pa Vue died in a head-on accident on Monday morning, June 13.
 
The accident happened around 6:20 a.m. along Jolon Road at Mission Road near Fort Hunter Liggett. According to the California Highway Patrol, 45-year-old Mary Lee was driving a Toyota Corolla with the three other victims when she collided head-on with a Honda Civic for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, all four occupants in the Toyota died at the scene. All were Fresno residents except for Moua who was from Merced. Xiong Lee was 44, Moua was 52 and Vue was 36.
 
The driver of the Honda Civic, 43-year-old Thomas Boots III of Hughson, suffered major injuries.
 
CHP said that everyone was wearing seatbelts.
 
Details about what happened leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
