Marvin Molina Dies, Lyeshia Bailey Involved in Pedestrian Crash on Riverside Avenue near Holly Street

 
RIALTO, CA (May 22, 2023) — Marvin Molina died in a pedestrian accident on Riverside Avenue near Holly Street.
 
According to the Rialto Police Department, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 8:40 p.m. on May 18. Under unclear circumstances, a southbound vehicle on Riverside Avenue struck 35-year-old Marvin Molina outside of a crosswalk.
 
Investigators learned that the Rialto man was walking westbound in the lanes of traffic before he walked into the southbound lanes.
 
The 34-year-old driver of the vehicle, later identified as Lyeshia Ennette Bailey, stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators. Authorities do not suspect alcohol or drugs to have played a role in the crash.
