Martin Castro Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 94 near Rancho Miguel Road

 
JAMUL, CA (December 1, 2022) — Martin Castro died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 94 near Rancho Miguel Road.
 
According to a San Diego Department Medical Examiner Report, the fatal motorcycle accident happened around 4:06 p.m. on November 10. For unknown reasons, 60-year-old Martin Alonso Castro struck the rear of a Ford F150 while moving at an unknown speed on Highway 94 West.
 
As a result of the impact, the San Diego man was ejected from his motorcycle. He slid down the road while his motorcycle continued into oncoming traffic.
 
Witnesses contacted 911, and paramedics and law enforcement arrived soon after. Although they found him alert and responsive, First Responders brought him to Sharp Memorial Hospital where staff diagnosed him with a left femur fracture. Subsequently, Castro went into cardiac arrest and died nearly two hours later.
 
No other information about the crash was available. Although, if anyone has more news on this accident, please call the California Highway Patrol.
