Mark Hindmand Dies in Hit-and-Run Bicycle Accident

 
BELL GARDENS, CA (August 12, 2021) — Mark Hindmand died in a hit-and-run bicycle crash on Florence Avenue near Wilcox Avenue on July 18.
 
According to Bell Gardens Police Department, the fatal incident happened around 1:55 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a westbound gray Honda SUV struck 58-year-old Hindmand as he was pedaling east on Florence Avenue.
 
As a result of the impact, he struck a utility pole and landed on the sidewalk where he sustained fatal injuries.
 
However, the driver of the Honda left westbound on Florence Avenue, failing to render any type of aid.
