Passenger Dies after Car Crashes near El Mirage Dry Lake in Adelanto

 
ADELANTO, CA (May 26, 2022) – Mario Cancino Rojas was killed in a car accident in Adelanto on Saturday night, May 21.
 
The fatal accident happened around 6:10 p.m. near the El Mirage Dry Lake. According to the California Highway Patrol, Rojas was a passenger in the car that had crashed for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they found Rojas suffering from fatal injuries and pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
Rojas was a 31-year-old Orange resident, the CHP said.
 
The condition of the driver was not immediately available.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still investigating the accident to determine the cause of the crash and factors involved.
