Authorities Identify Mario Legaspi in Harbor Gateway Crash on 110 Freeway
HARBOR GATEWAY, CA (February 2, 2021) – Authorities Thursday identified a man who died in a car accident on 110 Freeway in the Harbor Gateway area of south Los Angeles.
The accident happened around 6:00 p.m. near the Redondo Beach Boulevard off-ramp.
According to the coroner’s office, 30-year-old Mario Legaspi of Long Beach died at scene.
Three lanes were shut down on the northbound Harbor Freeway, in addition to the Redondo Beach Boulevard off-ramp. After that, police investigated.
It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor. The full circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
